Workout update

Went in today to get weighed and i lost 3 pounds... If I continue to work out twice a day and continue to eat healthy like i have been doing these past 2 weeks I will be right on track to success... Just wanted to give you guys that update. SN. I pulled a muscle on my arm today when i started to do some jumping jacks at bootcamp. I am going to soak it in some espom salt. Pray that that works.

April's Fitness Challenge!: Go Hard or Go Home

I am thinking of a fitness theme for the month of April... I am calling it, "GO HARD OR GO HOME!" In this challenge I am encouraging everyone in the month of APRIL to complete 2,000 crunches, run a total of 40 miles, and do 1,000 squats..If you cannot do the 40 miles, you can modify it and do 1000 mountain climbers or push-ups. I will be doing this along with my kettlebell & boot camp classes. I think these are very doable... What do you guys think? Would anyone like to join me on this?
I will try to update you guys on here on how everything is going with this fitness challenge!

Fitness Update

 Hello Everyone! I have been updating my daily fitness activities on facebook. But I will give you guys a little update now. For the month of MARCH I have been doing the 3,000 squats challenge. So far I am at 2760. I am less than 300 squats away from reaching my goal and I started on March 5,2012. So that is awesome progression. I have been working out twice a day. I run in the mornings. On Mondays and Wednesdays I go to boot camp in the AM and cardio classes in the PM.. Monday I just run on the elliptical. And Wednesdays, I go to kettle bell class... Tuesday, Thursdays, Friday, & Sunday. I run a mile in the AM and do the Brazil Butt Lift. I am currently on day 5. It is too soon to tell you guys if I have seen results from it. I can def. feel the results! But I will def take a picture or upload a video at day 30 and day 60... Saturdays I weigh-in with my boot camp trainer and I workout with him. I do not do a second workout on Saturday.

Workout Update

I have been updating Facebook, but not my blog.. The workout is going well. I have been seeing everything through in regards to my work out. I work out 6 days a week twice a day. I have been running in the morning, which allows me to get to work on time in fact early. lol. I have continue to eat healthier. I eat 6 times a day and I am average about 9-10 bottles of water a day. I have been taking a multiviatmin everyday.I ahve also been working out in the mornings with my roommates. Its always good to have someone to workout with to kindof motivate you. I start the BBL on Monday with my roommate and we are super excited.
Also this month I have embarked on a new challenge.  For the month of March I am doing the 3,000 squat challenge. which basically is to do 3,000 squats by the end of March. I started kindof late. I started on March 5th. I started doing regular squats, and then just for giggles I decided to to add kettlebell to it. So I typically do them in the morning and before I go to bed.. I also go to kettlebell class, but I lose count after 200 in those classes so I am sure I have surpassed the number I wrote on here. But I just want to to shape and tone my legs, hips, and thighs and I think it would be fun. Do you wanna join in on the fun? lol.. I am currently at 1680 squats.. I hope to achieve 2,000 by Sunday. Which me luck!

I did an amazing race today with my coworkers and ended up running a total of 7.5 miles all over downtown STL. It started pouring down raining.. Thank Goodness I had a bag to put on my head. I also did another 2.5 mile wall/jog around the city. So a total of 9.46 miles. Go me... Bootcamp in the AM, then I am heading to 2 parades in the city. Good weekend ahead! SN. This is my first charter week that I am missing sad face.. Thats one negative to moving 18 hours away. I hope my Lambda Eta family enjoy themselves and has a gr8 Charter Day!

Think Like a Man

I actually purchased this book a couple of years ago. I want to say back in 2010.  The book is really good. Please support this movie and also pick up the book as well."Act Like a Woman, Think like a Man" It was a New York Times Best Sellers for a little while. I really like to support AA that are doing something postive.
Also here is the single for the movie... Stevie Harvey debut this song on his radio show a couple of months ago and I have been a big fan of it ever since.

NEW WORKOUT: Brazil Butt Lift

So I have lost weight and everything, but I want to lose some more. A while ago I talked to you guys about wanting to lose inches in my hips and thighs... So for my birthday I got this: Brazil Butt Lift... It is a 60 day workout DVD. However, I am giving myself 90 days... I am going to try really hard to workout twice a day/7 days a week. Since I wake up early in the morning I can do the Brazilian butt lift in the AM, go to work, then after I get off workout at the gym, then socialize like I always do.S By working out at the gym, I mean run 1-4 miles a day, lift 3-4 times a week. I would also like to incorporated more cardio classes. I have 18 cardio classes that I need to use up by June 1, 2012. These DVDs comes with a cookbook as well. So I am excited to try some new recipes. I think I am going to also incorporate my ab diet workout in these exercises as well. You guys may think that this is workout overkill but I feel like 90 days will be a good. The DVD will be coming in the mail March 7-9... I am hoping it comes in the mail on March 8... That way I can do a 90 day picture on June 8, 2012. 
My personal goal is to run 4-5 miles in 45 minutes by the end of June, lose inches in my waist, hips, and thighs, continue to eat healthier, tone my whole body, and live a healthier and active lifestyle. I think if I do all of these I should reach my goal and it would be just in time for the beginning of summer! I am not a bathing suit person at all, even when I was a smaller, so that won't change. But at least I will look good in my jeans. Who knows, if I reach my goal I might be able to run two 5k marathons. One at the end of June and another one in July. My personal goal would be to run one in July. That can be my plunge right before I start Graduate school this fall.
