lets get physical

So I have been doing gr8 with this fitness plan and eating healthy. I relapsed twice in the past 6 weeks, I am not even going to lie. So far I have been working out about 4-5 days a week for up 2- 2 1/2 hours at a time.I am burning calories like no other. I eat 6 small meals and snacks a day. I have been trying to go the gym twice a day, and so far that has NOT been a success.lol. I did it twice and I have not been back since. It kind of shocked me because surprisingly I AM  a morning person. I get up naturally at 530am. But I guess my body does not want to get up and drive to the gym that early. I am getting my evening workout done with no problem, going to the gym at 5am every morning to work out isn't working. That's why I said insanity in the morning would be perfect for me, no driving. All I have to do is just roll out of bed and start working out in my living room.
I am losing inches more so then weight. My trainer has been measuring me and as of 2 weeks ago I lost over 4 inches in my waist, and 2 inches in my thighs, 1 inch in my leg and 1 inch in my stomach. My trainer made me set out detailed goals, and so far, I have met my goals. But I thought 2 inches in my thighs when I set that goal I thought that would  mean a pant size down. I was wrong. So I guess my next goal is to lose 5 more inches in the next 6 weeks because I want to lose more weight and inches. however I am so proud of the progress that I have made thus far. I have more energy, my heart is healthy and pumping, I am eating healthier and I know what I am eating. I have even increased the pounds of weights I am lifting by 40-60 pounds. I have my final weigh in and measurement this Thursday. I hope I lose more inches and weight..Pray I do well! Crossing my fingers!

Gr8 Relationships

These past couple of years I have really been blessed to meet and interact with some gr8 people. I believe when you meet people, it doesn't matter who they are, that you leave a positive impression of yourself with them. Kind of like footprints in the sand. You may have walked away but your memory is still there. After I graduated from college in 2010,  I transition into an alumnae chapter and met so many wonderful and successful Sorors that have or are are currently working and interacting with some big names in the field that I want to work in. A lot of them are big names themselves! Last night I had a conversation with a Soror that has grown into a friendship.  She is a little bit older than me, only by like 5 years or so. But she gave me some gr8 advice about jobs and life in general.  It is always good to get advice from people that have lived or experienced some of the things that you are currently going through because they can help things run so much smoothly by giving you some sound advice. I am defiantly taking her advice and hopefully in a few months her advice will pay off, which I already know it will ! I learned a lot from our conversation, and I look forward to more conversations like that one. I am just thankful that she thought of me to give that gr8 advice. And I always try to pay it forward and do the same with others.
