Ill take "8" for 800!

If you guys didn’t already know I am a member of the Largest Black Sorority in the world Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. I crossed the Lambda Eta Chapter in Spring 2009 and I was the number 8. Since I am in the 8th position, I decided to looked up what my number means and if it applies to me. I broke it down in numerology and in dreams. So far it looks like I was born to be a 8. ;) Check it out and if you agree or disagree please feel free to comment. Have a Wonderful Thursday!
What it means in numerology?
The Life Path 8 suggests that you entered this plane armed to lead, direct, organize and govern. You are very ambitious and goal-oriented. You will want to use your ambitions, your organizational ability, and your efficient approach to carve a satisfying niche for yourself. If you are a positive 8 you are endowed with tremendous potential for conceiving far-reaching schemes and ideas, and also possessing the tenacity and independence to follow them through to completion. In short, you were born to be an executive. (This is so true about me, my line name is Organized Chaos, and anyone who meets me will tell you that that name fits me to a T.lol. I am very goal orientated at one point in time, when I was in high school I had a 45 year plan. Anal I know.lol. Even to this day, I am still very goal oriented…. I am glad that I was born to be an executive..lol.)
You know how to manage yourself and your environment. Your ability to judge the character and potential of the people around you is an asset used to your advantage. A large part of your success in life comes from how hard you work. This Life Path is the most prone to producing workaholics. But your ability to spot good people and engage them in your endeavors is a special trait not to be overlooked. There is an inspirational quality in your makeup which allows you to become a great leader. You are practical and steady in your pursuit of major objectives, and you have the courage of your convictions when it comes to taking the necessary chances to get ahead. (I am really hard worker, esp. for a cause that I am passionate about.)
With the Life Path of the number 8 you are focused on learning the satisfactions to be found in the material world. The Life Path 8 produces many powerful, confident and materially successful people. Most of your concerns involve money and learning of the power that comes with its proper manipulation. (Anyone who knows me knows that I am broke.lol. I love being a VISTA, but I would love to make some more money so this comment was on the dot.lol.)
This Life Path is perhaps the one that is the most concerned with and desirous of status as an ultimate measure of success. You want to be recognized for your hard work and achievements. The attainment of honors and acceptance into the club of executive leadership is all important. For this, you may find yourself very well suited to compete in the business world or in the political arena. (This too is so true of me. I was in 5 clubs in high school, 6 clubs and I joined my sorority in college, and now that I have graduated I am still active in my sorority but on a alumnae level, and I am apart of different committees, and I in the process of joining 2 other clubs in the Hampton Roads area. And in all of these club, at one point at time I was in a leadership/other than general member)
In relationships, you are frank, honest, and steadfast. You may be very much in love, but watch that you are not too busy and preoccupied to show it. Being the lavish provider is not always an adequate substitute for showing your devotion and affection in more personal ways. You have a great need for close personal relationships to mitigate and somehow soften your nature. You must find the time for love and keep it as an important project in your life. (This is true about me as well)
The negative 8 can be dictatorial and often suppresses the enthusiasm and efforts of fellow member of the environment. Often, the strength of their own personality excludes close feelings for other people with whom they come in contact. Material gains and rewards often become issues of utmost importance, even to the neglect of family, home and peace of mind. Dedication to success can become an obsession. Emotional feelings are often suppressed by the negative 8, resulting in isolation and loneliness. All Life Path 8 people must avoid discounting the opinions of others

What it means in your dreams?
Eight stands for power, authority, success, karma, material gains, regeneration, and wealth. When the number eight appears in your dream, trust your instincts and intuition. Alternatively, the number eight may be a pun on "ate". Perhaps there is some information that you need to digest.

  1. two questions...are you on track for your 45-year plan AND where did you find out about these committees/clubs? I feel like it would be beneficial to join some young professional social things...but you know me, I'm antisocial and unmotivated in that area

  2. My 45 year plan has changed...a lot.lol. mainly because I use to want to be a lawyer, then a judge so my plan was a build up to those things.. I have graduated high school and college though.lol. I actually think my new plan is better than my old plan.lol.my new plan is to get my masters and by 31 to have my doctorine. My goal is to own my first home by age 33 and be a linsced clinical social work. As far as clubs/organizations goes, I would like to join the Urban League and National Assication of Negro Women. I am currently a part of a book club and I workout with a group of people now. I am a member of the Black ALlumane Assoication BUT I am not active in it.lol. So I def need to get on that.
